Bournemouth need to find a way to build on their stunning 2-1 win over Manchester City earlier in the season if they are to have any chance of winning this one.

Bournemouth battled past Wolves in the last round as they secured a 2-1 win. This came after beating Everton 2-0 at Goodison Park, with the Cherries in good form.

However, they have struggled of late. Their win over Wolves in the cup comes alongside three defeats and a draw in the Premier League. Bournemouth have struggled to keep clean sheets in this time, conceding in their last six matches.

The home side may not be in the best form right now, but they have already beaten City this season. The Cherries won 2-1 when they hosted City back in November. In that match they scored the first goal, and I back them to hit the back of the net first at the weekend.

Manchester City Form

Manchester City have to win this match as they look to win a trophy in a season that has been way below their high standards.

Their 8-0 win over Salford in the FA Cup back in January has been followed by tighter wins over Leyton Orient (2-1) and Plymouth (3-1). While City won both matches, they conceded the first goal in each game as they piled the pressure on themselves.

City have seen both teams score in their last two FA Cup games. Pep Guardiola's side are struggling to keep clean sheets this season, while they have conceded the first goal in four of their last five away games in all competitions.

I predict that City will concede the first goal once again as Bournemouth give them an almighty scare.
