GS Warriors at Minnesota Timberwolves Game 5 Preview
After two games in San Francisco, the series moves to Minnesota with the Timberwolves leading 3-1.
Will the home team close it out in Game 5, or will the five-time NBA champions avoid elimination and await the return of their star, Steph Curry?

The Timberwolves are one step away from their second consecutive Western Conference Finals, a historic achievement for the franchise.
After another road win in San Francisco, the Wolves have put themselves in a strong position and will have the opportunity to close out the series in front of their home crowd.
Game 4 wasn’t nearly as tight as Game 3, which had been much more competitive. Up until the middle of the third quarter, the game was tied, but then the Timberwolves, led by Edwards and Randle, went on a 17-0 run to seal the win.
Both players had nearly identical stats, with a combined 11-of-21 shooting and 10 made three-pointers between them.
Jaden McDaniels and Alexander-Walker also posted double-digit scoring performances, while veteran Mike Conley had his best game of the series, contributing 11 points and 5 assists.

The Warriors had hoped to win at least one game on their home court and potentially await Stephen Curry's return, but they fell short.
This time, Jimmy Butler struggled, scoring only 14 points, while Jonathan Kuminga played another solid game with 23 points, though it wasn’t enough.
Once again, it was a forgettable performance from the young Brandin Podziemski (3/14), who clearly struggled against the aggressive defense of the Timberwolves.
Draymond Green had a much better performance than in Game 3, but it's clear he's not the type of player to carry the team with scoring.
The Warriors’ only hope now is to play much better in Minneapolis and extend the series with a win. For that to happen, they’ll need a playoff-level performance from Jimmy Butler and the best possible efforts from his teammates.
