Real Madrid need to keep winning their matches as they are locked in a thrilling battle for the La Liga title with Barcelona.

Real Madrid have been excellent this season, winning 18 of their 28 matches and moving onto 60 points for the season so far. However, they have a big challenge ahead of them as they look to see-off the charge of Barcelona.

Real have won 11 of their 13 home games this season, drawing once and losing once. They return to league action with two wins over Rayo Vallecano and Villarreal behind them, with this allowing them to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Real Betis earlier in March.

With seven wins in their last 10 against Leganes, I am confident the home side will win this one. Real can call on Kylian Mbappe, who has scored 20 league goals this season, while he scored a brace against Villarreal in is last game for Real.

Leganes Form

Leganes have lost their last two league games, with defeats to Celta Vigo and Real Betis seeing the side slip into the relegation zone with 27 points.

A single win in their last eight in the league has come alongside five defeats and two draws. Leganes cannot afford to keep dropping points, but they do not look strong enough to compete with most of the sides around them.

While the travelling side will try to make things tough for Real, their woeful run of form means I am backing against them getting anything from this one.
