San Jose Earthquakes are looking to battle back from a disappointing start to the season where they won three of their opening 10 games.

Their 11th and 12th matches ended in wins to see them move up the standings, but they have looked far from perfect, with six defeats coming in their opening 12 games.

While the home side will believe they have every chance of making it three successive wins in the MLS, they have not yet beaten their opponents, and I predict that they will be left wondering what might have been as they lose once again.

Inter Miami have been frustratingly inconsistent of late, with their last four games resulting in two wins and two draws.

Their 4-1 loss to Minnesota United saw Lionel Messi net in the 48th minute to make it 2-1, but they failed to kick on as they conceded two more goals. Defeat means Miami missed the chance to take advantage of the sides above them dropping points, something they will be desperate to avoid this week.

While Miami have not been perfect this season, I am backing them to secure all three points as they get back to winning ways at the first time of asking.
