Defeats to Napoli, Inter Milan and Lecce have come alongside a draw with struggling Venezia. With 44 points, they are 13 clear of Empoli in 18th, and it is very likely that securing their place in Serie A for next season has seen much of their intensity lost.

While the reverse of this match ended in a tight 1-0 loss for Torino, showing how close the teams were, I predict that their final match of the season will end in defeat. Torino are playing for nothing more than placement in the league, while Roma are fighting for a top four spot.

Roma have been excellent in recent months, with the side fighting their way up the table and ensuring they come into their final match of the season with a top four spot within reach.

Of course, they need fourth placed Juventus to drop points in their final game if they are to have any chance of securing a Champions League spot. However, with Juve only winning one of their last three league games, anything could happen in the finale to the season.
