Chelsea vs Legia Preview & Tips – Chelsea backed to easily beat Legia in Europa Conference League quarter-final second-leg

Legia need a comeback of epic proportions at Stamford Bridge after slipping to a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea on their own patch. 

Chelsea have won the only meeting between the sides as they hammered Legia 3-0 last week. 

Despite having to stomach some temperamental performances across their domestic campaign, Chelsea’s fans have been treated to nine consecutive wins in Europe. 

While the standard of opposition in the competition has not been particularly high, their winning run is still impressive. Few will back against them to go all the way and secure the trophy this season. 

With two clean sheets in Europe heading into this one, I am backing the Blues to win to nil for the third successive match. 

Legia knew they would be right up against it in their tie with Chelsea, but a positive result in the first-leg would help to keep some form of hope alive. 

However, they were played off the pitch by the Blues. With 30% of the ball and just three shots on target, Legia were unable to breach Chelsea’s defence, while they conceded three times in a game that will have them fearing their trip to Stamford Bridge. 

While Legia will look to take a positive result from the second-leg with the tie all but over as a contest, I do not see them scoring as they are beaten once again.
