The Indian Premier League 2026 is officially here, and HugeStakes.com has the latest IPL predictions and betting tips.

Running from March 28 to May 31, this 84-match season features 10 teams and a new look player line-up following the biggest trade window in IPL history.

This guide reveals our outright winner pick, as well as match-by-match predictions with the latest betting odds and IPL promotions from top-rated crypto sportsbooks like Stake, BC.GAME, and Gamdom.

Who Will Win IPL 2026?

With teams expected to play more aggressively and score higher totals than ever, the race for the 2026 Indian Premier League title is expected to be very tight.

Our Pick to Win: Mumbai Indians (MI)

Although they haven’t won the tournament since 2020, HugeStakes’ pre-tournament outright winner prediction is the Mumbai Indians. Here is why we think MI are the team to beat:

  • Homegrown Talent: The Mumbai Indians successfully kept their ‘big four’ Indian stars: Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma.

  • Elite Bowling: With Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult, Mumbai has one of the most feared opening and ‘at the death’ bowling partnerships in the league.

  • Key Addition: The Indians have strengthened their batting by bringing back the experienced Quinton de Kock during this season’s auction.

  • Winning Pedigree: Despite a 5-year drought, MI is one of the most successful teams in history with five wins. Many top experts believe their current squad is their most complete in years.

Outside Tip: Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

While they are not the main favorites, the Chennai Super Kings are our top outside pick this season.

Why the Super Kings are a dangerous wildcard:

  • Sanju Samson: In one of the biggest moves of the year, CSK acquired Sanju Samson through a trade. Samson was the MVP of the 2026 T20 World Cup and is currently in the best form of his career.

  • Youth Movement: CSK has shifted away from its older lineup, investing heavily in young talent such as uncapped stars Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma.

  • The Dhoni Factor: While Ruturaj Gaikwad is the captain, MS Dhoni remains with the team to provide mentorship and finishing power.

IPL Predictions: Match-by-Match

Our experts have analyzed team rosters, recent form, injuries, and stadium history to formulate our IPL predictions.

Match 1: Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad will be without their regular captain Pat Cummins due to injury, which is a major blow to their bowling. RCB has the momentum of being the defending champions and the advantage of playing at home in Bengaluru.

Predicted Winner: RCB

Match 2: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Mumbai Indians

With this match taking place at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the Indians enter this match as slight favorites. If their local players, including Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and Shardul Thakur, can make a strong impression, you have to fancy Mumbai to edge this one.

Predicted Winner: MI

Match 3: Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings

  • Date: March 30, 2026
  • Venue: Barsapara Stadium, Guwahati

IPL Match 3 RR v CSK

The Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati is known as a true batter's paradise, with short boundaries and a rapid outfield. However, as the evening progresses, the humidity often brings a bit of grip for the slower bowlers.

Rajasthan will likely look to use Yashasvi Jaiswal to maximize the powerplay, but they face a significant hurdle with the confirmed absence of Sam Curran due to a knee injury. This leaves their pace attack looking a bit thin, putting immense pressure on Prasidh Krishna to lead the line against a deep CSK batting order.

The narrative of this match is entirely centered on Sanju Samson facing his former franchise. Now donning the yellow of CSK, Samson’s intimate knowledge of the RR bowlers' tendencies gives Chennai a tactical edge. While Rajasthan’s new captain, Riyan Parag, will have the crowd behind him in his home state of Assam, his leadership will be tested by the veteran tactical mind of MS Dhoni and the clinical efficiency of Ruturaj Gaikwad.

The Super King’s bowling attack is perfectly balanced for a pitch that might start flat but slow down. The spin duo of Noor Ahmad and Rahul Chahar is arguably the most potent ‘restrictor’ pair in the IPL. While RR has explosive power, they have shown a tendency to collapse when the run rate is squeezed in the middle overs. Expect CSK’s experience and the ‘Samson Factor’ to steer them to a comfortable victory in the final few overs.

Predicted Winner: Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Betting Value Tip: With the short boundaries in Guwahati, the market for "Total Sixes over 16.5" looks like high-value territory for this specific matchup.

  • Total Sixes (over 16.5) - 1.80 at Stake.com [bet here]

Match 4: Punjab Kings vs Gujarat Titans

  • Date: March 31, 2026
  • Venue: New Chandigarh Stadium (Mullanpur)

The New Chandigarh Stadium is known for its bounce and a pitch that offers significant lateral movement for fast bowlers in the first six overs. Gujarat Titans, led by Shubman Gill, will look to exploit this with Mohammed Siraj.

However, the ground's large square boundaries make it difficult for even the biggest power-hitters to clear the rope consistently. This creates a game of placement and pressure rather than raw power, favoring a disciplined batting unit that can rotate strike effectively.

This match features a fascinating tactical contrast. Gujarat Titans have doubled down on their consistency model, retaining the bulk of their squad to maintain chemistry.

In contrast, Punjab Kings under Shreyas Iyer have undergone something of a discipline makeover, moving away from their historically erratic performances toward a more calculated, data-driven approach.

The key battle will be PBKS's death-bowling specialist Arshdeep Singh against GT's aggressive Jos Buttler. If Arshdeep can nail his yorkers on this surface, the Titans will find it difficult to post a big total.

Home advantage in Chandigarh is a real factor; the PBKS pace battery of Arshdeep Singh and Marco Jansen is perfectly tuned to these specific conditions. While Gujarat has the star power of Rashid Khan, Punjab’s middle order, featuring the rejuvenated Shreyas Iyer, is built to handle high-quality spin by playing low-risk cricket.

Gujarat often takes a few games to find their rhythm early in a season, whereas Punjab looks more battle-ready with a settled domestic core that has been training at this venue for weeks. Expect a tight, low-scoring contest where Punjab’s superior local knowledge carries them over the line.

Predicted Winner: Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Betting Value Tip: Given the large boundaries and the early-season movement for seamers, the ‘Total Fours under 31.5’ market offers excellent value as batters struggle to find the fence in the early overs.

IPL Odds

Match 5: Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals

  • Date: April 1, 2026
  • Venue: Ekana Stadium, Lucknow

IPL Match 5 Prediction

The Ekana Stadium wicket is notorious for being one of the slowest and most spin-friendly surfaces in the IPL. The pitch naturally grips the ball, making timing difficult for aggressive stroke-makers.

While both teams possess immense power, this will be a tactical fight rather than a high-scoring thriller. For Lucknow Super Giants, playing under new captain Rishabh Pant, the objective will be to find a balance between aggression and patience. They cannot simply muscle their way to a big score here. Delhi Capitals, under Axar Patel, will use their experienced bowling attack to immediately squeeze the scoring rate from the first over.

This match is a tactical masterclass in reading the conditions. Delhi Capitals have intentionally built a squad that thrives on these exact pitches. Their captain, Axar Patel, alongside Kuldeep Yadav and Mukesh Kumar, knows exactly how to exploit the natural variations of the Ekana track.

The strategy will be simple: restrict Lucknow to a sub-par total by drying up the boundaries and forcing them to take risky singles. For Lucknow, the key is whether their batting depth can survive the spin onslaught. If LSG can manufacture a competitive total through clever rotation of strike, they have a chance, but they face a highly organized defensive unit.

Delhi’s defensive bowling unit is fundamentally superior on a low, slow surface. Kuldeep Yadav's wrist-spin and Axar Patel’s metronomic control make them an almost unplayable combination on this wicket.

Furthermore, Lucknow’s reliance on power-hitters like Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh can be a vulnerability on a pitch that neutralizes that power. While Rishabh Pant will be eager to perform for LSG, Delhi's deep knowledge of how to win low-scoring battles gives them the edge. Expect a game where every run is a struggle, with Delhi Capitals eventually strangling the home side's chase.

Predicted Winner: Delhi Capitals (DC)

Betting Value Tip: Given the spin-dominant nature of this pitch and Delhi's clinical approach, the market for ‘Total Boundaries under 29.5’ looks exceptionally strong for this specific matchup.

Match 6: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

  • Date: April 2, 2026
  • Venue: Eden Gardens, Kolkata

MATCH 6 KKR v SRH predictions

Both teams enter this fixture with contrasting momentum from their opening games. KKR suffered a narrow defeat against the Mumbai Indians in Match 2; while their batting looked lethal, their death bowling was exposed due to the absence of Harshit Rana.

Sunrisers Hyderabad, meanwhile, struggled in their opener against RCB (Match 1), where their top order collapsed under high pressure, failing to chase a massive total at the Chinnaswamy. Both sides are desperate to get their first points on the board.

The Eden Gardens pitch is traditionally a batter’s dream with a fast outfield and consistent bounce, but it offers a unique advantage to ‘mystery’ spinners as the game progresses. For SRH, the plan will be to unleash the Head-Abhishek storm in the power play to take the crowd out of the game early. However, KKR’s home ground has a history of assisting spin under lights, which could neutralize SRH’s aggressive middle-order play if they don't build a massive platform early on.

This is a game of spin vs. raw power. Sunrisers Hyderabad have doubled down on their all-out attack philosophy, but they often struggle when the ball stops coming onto the bat. KKR’s strategy will center on their world-class spin trio of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakaravarthy, and Suyash Sharma.

Their goal is to survive the initial SRH onslaught and then choke the scoring rate in the middle overs. Additionally, KKR’s record at Eden Gardens is formidable, having won over 70% of their home games against SRH historically.

Why Kolkata Takes It

While SRH has the higher ceiling for a record-breaking score, KKR has the better tools to win a close, scrappy game at Eden Gardens. Sunil Narine remains an enigma that the SRH top order has never fully solved. Furthermore, the signing of Cameron Green gives KKR a massive stability factor in the middle order that they lacked last season.

With the vocal Kolkata crowd behind them and a bowling attack specifically suited to this venue's dimensions, KKR should be able to restrict SRH’s power-hitters just enough to chase down any target.

Predicted Winner: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Betting Value Tip: Given the history of high scores at this venue but KKR’s strong spin defense, the 'Highest Opening Partnership: SRH' market is a strong play, even if KKR wins the match.

Match 7 Prediction: Chennai Super Kings vs Punjab Kings

  • Date: April 3, 2026
  • Venue: MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk), Chennai

The loss in Match 3 exposed CSK’s vulnerability to high-intensity opening partnerships. However, returning to their true home at Chepauk completely changes the tactical landscape. While they were thrashed on the flat track in Guwahati, the slow, turning surface in Chennai is where their squad is built to thrive.

Punjab Kings enter this game with high confidence after dismantling Gujarat Titans in Match 4. Medium pacer Vijaykumar Vyshak was lethal in that game, but he will find much less assistance from the Chennai pitch.

CSK rarely loses two games in a row, especially when transitioning back to their 'Spin Fortress.' The defeat to RR served as a wake-up call for their batters. Expect Ruturaj Gaikwad to play a more anchored role, allowing Sanju Samson and Ayush Mhatre to attack the Punjab spinners.

While Punjab’s pace attack is world-class, Chepauk is the ultimate equalizer, and the tactical mastery of the CSK camp at this venue should see them secure their first home points of the season.

Predicted Winner: Chennai Super Kings (CSK)

Betting Value Tip: Look at the Punjab Kings to score over 45.5 runs in the last 5 overs market. CSK's death bowling is currently their biggest question mark without Jadeja's accuracy.

Match 10: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Lucknow Super Giants

  • Date: April 5, 2026
  • Venue: Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad come into this match after a comfortable win against KKR in Match 6. Lucknow Super Giants, meanwhile, had a tough outing in Match 5 against Delhi Capitals. Playing on the slow Ekana surface, LSG’s power-hitters struggled to adapt, resulting in them only posting 141 after batting first.

The Hyderabad track is traditionally one of the flattest and fastest in India. It is a 'six-hitter’s paradise' with consistent bounce and very little lateral movement for the pacers after the first two overs. For SRH, this is the perfect playground. Expect Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma to go even harder than usual.

For LSG, the challenge is whether their pace attack, led by the newly traded Mohammad Shami, can find early breakthroughs. If Shami doesn't strike in the first 3 overs, SRH is likely to post a total well north of 210.

SRH at home is a different beast. Their squad is built specifically to exploit flat, fast tracks where they can out-muscle the opposition. While LSG has incredible individual talent in Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram, they are still finding their best XI under the new leadership.

SRH's opening pair are currently the most feared duo in the IPL, and on this specific surface, they are almost impossible to contain. Expect SRH to utilize the home conditions to overpower LSG’s bowling unit and secure a high-scoring victory.

Predicted Winner: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

Match 11: Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Chennai Super Kings

  • Date: April 5, 2026
  • Venue: M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

IPL Predictions 2026

RCB is coming off a massive high as the defending champions, having already secured a win at home against SRH. Their batting lineup looks terrifyingly consistent at the Chinnaswamy.

CSK, however, is in a bit of a rebuilding phase after their heavy loss to Rajasthan in Match 3, which was swiftly followed by another loss against Punjab in Match 7.

The Chinnaswamy is a bowler's nightmare. With its short boundaries and high altitude, the ball travels further, and even miscues often clear the rope. For RCB, Phil Salt and Virat Kohli will look to exploit the powerplay against a CSK pace attack that has struggled for early wickets. For Chennai, the key is survival. If they can keep wickets in hand until the 15th over, Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube can feast on the small boundaries, but they must avoid a top-order collapse.

At the Chinnaswamy, batting depth is everything, and RCB currently has the most explosive lineup in the league. While CSK has the tactical edge, they lack the raw "six-hitting" frequency required to keep up with RCB on this specific ground, especially without Jadeja's finishing cameos. Expect Virat Kohli to put on a masterclass in front of his home crowd, leading RCB to a high-scoring victory in this legendary derby.

Predicted Winner: Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB)

Betting Value Tip: Look at the "Total Sixes in Match" market. With these two teams at this venue, the line of 20.5 sixes is very likely to be surpassed.

Match 12: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Punjab Kings

  • Date: April 6, 2026
  • Venue: Eden Gardens, Kolkata

KKR enters this fixture with a point to prove. After a narrow opening-week loss, they were smashed by the Sunrisers in their second match.

Punjab Kings, however, are arguably one of the form teams of the early season. Following their victory over Gujarat (Match 4), they beat CSK in Match 7 by 5 wickets with eight balls to spare.

The Eden Gardens surface for this match is expected to be a fair wicket, offering good carry for the pacers in the first 4 overs but turning into a spin-trap as the humidity rises under the lights.

For PBKS, the objective is to let Jonny Bairstow attack the new ball before KKR can introduce their spinners. If PBKS can navigate the 7th to 15th overs without losing more than two wickets, they have the lower-order power to finish strong.

While Punjab is playing exceptionally well, KKR at Eden Gardens remains one of the most difficult away fixtures in cricket. The venue’s unique dimensions and the way the pitch takes spin under lights play perfectly into KKR’s hands.

Additionally, Sunil Narine has a historically dominant record against the PBKS top order. Expect a tight contest where KKR’s superior spin depth eventually strangles the Punjab chase in the final five overs, securing a first home win for the Knight Riders.

Predicted Winner: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

Betting Value Tip: Look at the Total Match Wickets by Spinners over 7.5 market. Both teams will lean heavily on their slow bowlers on this specific Eden Gardens track.

Match 13: Rajasthan Royals vs Mumbai Indians

  • Date: April 8, 2026
  • Venue: Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah

Predicted Winner: Mumbai Indians (MI)

Rajasthan Royals enters this fixture with a 2-0 record, with victories against CSK in Guwahati in Match 3 and GT in Match 9. On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians are 1-1 after securing maximum points against KKR, but then falling to the Delhi Capitals in Match 8.

The Sharjah stadium is renowned for its flat pitch, short boundaries, and a lightning-fast outfield. For RR, the objective must involve maximizing the powerplay, perhaps by promoting Sanju Samson earlier to partner with Yashasvi Jaiswal. For MI, the strategy centers on Gerald Coetzee finding early swing to remove RR's top three before they can do maximum damage.

While Rajasthan’s batting is explosive, their bowling without a fully fit Sam Curran is potentially vulnerable on a small ground like Sharjah. Mumbai Indians, conversely, possess the unique asset of Jasprit Bumrah, who has a historically dominant record at this venue, often single-handedly winning low-scoring matches.

Furthermore, MI's middle order of Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma is currently the most settled in the league, allowing them to consistently outscore their opponents on high-scoring venues. Expect a tight, runs-laden contest where MI’s superior bowling discipline under extreme pressure carries them over the line.

Predicted Winner: Mumbai Indians (MI)

Match 14: Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans

  • Date: April 9, 2026
  • Venue: Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi

IPL Match 14 Prediction

Delhi Capitals enter this game with significant momentum, having won their first two matches against LSG and MI, respectively. Gujarat Titans, meanwhile, are looking to get their IPL up and running after suffering back-to-back losses in their first two matches.

The Delhi pitch has evolved into a surface that offers plenty of runs if batters play late and use the pace, but it can be treacherous for those who try to force the issue early. For GT, the plan will be to let Shubman Gill anchor the innings while Jos Buttler takes on the DC pace attack in the powerplay.

For Delhi, the strategy involves using Kuldeep Yadav to exploit the mid-innings lull. The square boundaries are relatively short, but the long "pockets" at the Arun Jaitley Stadium make two-running vital.

Delhi Capitals at home are becoming a very difficult unit to break down. Their spin duo of Axar and Kuldeep is arguably the most cohesive in the 2026 season, and they are perfectly suited to the slightly lower bounce of the Delhi track.

Predicted Winner: Delhi Capitals (DC)

Match 15: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Lucknow Super Giants

  • Date: April 9, 2026
  • Venue: Eden Gardens, Kolkata

KKR enters this fixture in need of a result following their loss to Sunrisers Hyderabad in match 6 and the 'no result' from their game with the Punjab Kings in Match 12.

Lucknow Super Giants, however, are coming into this game with a win over SRH in match 10, which was a vastly improved performance from their opening game - the loss to Delhi Capitals in match 5.

The Eden Gardens surface for this match is expected to be a little sticky, meaning the ball will hold in the surface for the slow bowlers. For LSG, the objective is for Rishabh Pant and Nicholas Pooran to avoid a mid-innings collapse by rotating strike effectively.

For KKR, the strategy is to let Cameron Green and Rinku Singh capitalize on the shorter side boundaries during the final five overs. If KKR bats first, any score above 185 will be extremely difficult to chase as the dew is expected to be minimal.

While LSG has incredible explosive potential, Eden Gardens is built for the KKR blueprint. The combination of a large home crowd and a pitch that perfectly suits their three-pronged spin attack gives them a massive advantage.

Lucknow’s middle order has occasionally looked one-dimensional when the ball isn't coming onto the bat, which is exactly the scenario KKR creates at home. Expect KKR to stifle LSG's power-hitters in the middle overs and secure their third consecutive victory at Eden Gardens.

Predicted Winner: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR)

What is the IPL?

The Indian Premier League (IPL) is the world's most popular and commercially successful Twenty20 (T20) cricket league. Organized by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the 2026 season (also known as IPL 19) will feature 10 teams playing 84 matches between March 28 and May 31.

IPL Trophy

Mumbai Indians

Mumbai enter the 2026 season as the favorites to win the title. The team has managed to keep its powerful Indian core, including Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Suryakumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma. This group gives them a level of stability and match-winning talent that most other teams don’t possess.

Their strategy during the player auctions was to focus on supporting their existing stars rather than making risky changes. They made a smart move by bringing back experienced wicketkeeper-batter Quinton de Kock for a bargain price to stabilize the top order. With a bowling attack led by Bumrah and Trent Boult, many experts believe this is their most complete squad in years.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru

RCB are the defending champions after winning their first-ever title in 2025. The team is led by Rajat Patidar, who took over the captaincy and delivered immediate success. Their batting lineup remains one of the strongest in the league, featuring the consistent Virat Kohli and the explosive Phil Salt.

While their batting is elite, there are some concerns regarding their bowling depth. The team relies heavily on veterans like Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and lacks high-quality backups if injuries occur. Royal Challengers Bengaluru fans are hopeful that the momentum from their maiden championship will help them become the first team in years to win back-to-back titles.

Chennai Super Kings

The Super Kings have moved away from their traditional reliance on older players and are embracing a youth-led model. The biggest news for the team is the trade for Sanju Samson, who was the best player at the recent T20 World Cup. Samson joins a team led by Ruturaj Gaikwad and mentored by the legendary MS Dhoni, who remains with the franchise in a supporting role.

CSK also spent a record amount of money on young, uncapped Indian talents like Prashant Veer and Kartik Sharma to build for the future. While their batting looks dangerous with the addition of Samson and Dewald Brevis, we worry that their bowling attack might struggle to take wickets in high-scoring matches.

Punjab Kings

The Punjab Kings are determined to win their first trophy after reaching the final and narrowly losing last season. The team is now led by Shreyas Iyer and coached by Ricky Ponting, a combination that has brought a new sense of discipline to the squad. They have a very balanced roster that focuses on Indian depth rather than just high-priced overseas stars.

Their bowling unit is particularly strong, featuring the world-class leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal and fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. Chahal has reportedly focused heavily on his physical fitness to ensure he can give his best performance this season. If their young opening pair can stay consistent, this could be the year Punjab finally breaks its title drought.

Gujarat Titans

The Titans have been one of the most consistent teams in the league since they started playing. Led by Shubman Gill, the team is known for its balanced approach and tactical discipline. They have added legendary batter Matthew Hayden to their coaching staff to help improve their aggressive play at the top of the order.

The Titans' biggest strength is their bowling attack, which features Rashid Khan and Kagiso Rabada, two of the best T20 bowlers in the world. They also have Sai Sudharsan, who was the top run-scorer in the league last year. Experts view them as a very safe pick to reach the playoffs because they rarely play poorly.

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR made headlines by signing Australian star Cameron Green for a world-record price of 25.20 crore. The team is captained by the experienced Ajinkya Rahane and still relies on its two spinners, Sunil Narine and Varun Chakaravarthy. On a spinning track like their home ground at Eden Gardens, they are almost impossible to beat.

However, the team is currently facing a major injury crisis in their fast-bowling department. Their top Indian pacer, Harshit Rana, is out for the entire season, and Matheesha Pathirana is also dealing with an injury. They have brought in Blessing Muzarabani as a replacement, but the team's success will depend on whether their remaining bowlers can step up.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

The Sunrisers play the most aggressive style of cricket in the IPL. Their goal is to score as many runs as possible in the first few overs, led by the destructive opening pair of Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head. They have even stated that their target is to become the first team to score 300 runs in a single innings.

Despite their batting power, the team faces a leadership challenge early in the season. Their regular captain, Pat Cummins, is injured and will miss the opening matches, leaving Ishan Kishan to lead the team as a stand-in. Their bowling looks thin without Cummins, and they will need their hitters to consistently put up massive totals to win games.

Delhi Capitals

Delhi Capitals are often described as the team that ‘wins the auction’ because they build such strong rosters on paper. They are led by Axar Patel and feature a bowling attack of Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav, and Lungi Ngidi. This variety in their bowling gives them a high technical rating from most cricket analysts.

To fix their previous issues with inconsistent batting, they have added Pathum Nissanka and brought back Prithvi Shaw to help at the top of the order. While they have all the tools to dominate the league stage, the main question is whether they can stay calm and perform under the high pressure of playoff matches.

Lucknow Super Giants

LSG have built a team full of powerful ‘game-changers’ who can win a match in just a few overs. They made Rishabh Pant the most expensive player in the league and have other big hitters like Nicholas Pooran and Mitchell Marsh. This explosive lineup makes them one of the most frightening teams to bowl against.

The team also traded for veteran fast bowler Mohammad Shami to bring some much-needed experience to their pace attack. While they have enough talent to beat any team on their day, they can be inconsistent if their top order fails to find its rhythm early. Their season will likely depend on whether Shami and young star Mayank Yadav can stay healthy.

Rajasthan Royals

The Royals are entering a new era under the captaincy of young star Riyan Parag. The team made a major trade to bring in Ravindra Jadeja, which has significantly improved their spin-bowling options. They also have one of the league's best young batters in Yashasvi Jaiswal, who many expect to be the top run-scorer this season.

However, the team has been hit by a massive setback just before the start of the tournament. Star all-rounder Sam Curran is expected to miss the entire season due to a groin injury. This leaves a big hole in their middle order and their pace attack, forcing the team to look for a last-minute replacement to stay competitive.
