The 2024/25 Europa League season is hurtling towards the culmination of what has been another enthralling battle in the secondary competition in Europe.
With the competition at the grand final, nothing can be taken for granted, with two teams in contention to secure the trophy this year.

Premier League sides Manchester United and Tottenham are the only two teams left in the Europa League, with one of the sides on course to end awful league seasons with a European trophy.
Manchester United will arrive for the final as the side to back at 1.67. Tottenham are right behind them at 2.20, with both sides desperate to make amends for awful league runs.
In the Premier League, Manchester United and Tottenham sit in the two spots above the relegation places. If it were not for the bottom-three being well below the required level to even pretend they could avoid relegation, then United and Spurs would be embroiled in a real battle.
Despite their woes in England, the pair have impressed in Europe. United were able to hammer Athletic Bilbao 7-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals, while Spurs secured an impressive 5-1 win over Bodo/Glimt.
The two sides will now have the chance to improve on what has been an awful season as they battle for a major European trophy. However, the bigger prize is likely the space in the Champions League the winner will receive.
Some have questioned whether either of the two flailing sides would truly deserve a place in Europe's elite competition, but that is the beauty of the Europa League. One game stands between one of the clubs and a place in the biggest club competition Europe has to offer.
The final few weeks of the domestic season have been interesting as neither arrive in any kind of form.
