Carlos Alcaraz is looking to defend the crown he secured in 2024, with this constituting his third Grand Slam triumph. The youngster comes in at 1.83 to defend his title, but he is not alone at the head of the betting.

Jannik Sinner arrives as one of the favourites, with the Italian available at 2.30 after the first week of the competition. However, Sinner is yet to win a French Open crown, with two of his three Slams coming in Australia, with the other coming in the USA.

Novak Djokovic continues to sit in the top spots in the betting when it comes to any Slam. Djokovic is available at 9.50, meaning he offers more of a potential return than either Alcaraz or Sinner. He also brings the experience of securing 24 Grand Slam crowns.

However, it is worth noting that Djokovic was not able to win a Slam in 2024, with Sinner and Alcaraz winning two titles each. Will this spur Djokovic on, or was 2024 the beginning of the end when it comes to Djokovic winning any of the four biggest titles?

Further out in the betting, you will find Alexander Zverev, Lorenzo Musetti and Alexander Bublik leading the charge. While all are talented prospects, no player outside of Alcaraz, Sinner and Djokovic has won a Slam since Rafael Nadal back at the French Open in 2022.

The only Slam played on a clay court always brings its own challenges, and Nadal was for so long the king of clay. However, since his retirement, Alcaraz and Djokovic have both won one French Open title each.

Can either of the pair secure the trophy in 2025, or will someone else shock the tennis world and secure the glory?
