  • Two Stake Keno bets on 1 to 5 hit 390x
  • About $15,000 in stakes returned $5.8 million in 72 minutes
  • Each hit was roughly a 1 in 2,611 shot
Numbers 1 to 5 had a very good night on Stake Keno. Two separate tickets on that exact pick hit all five numbers on October 26, 2026, and together they paid out more than $5.8 million.

Both Stake Originals Keno bets were on Medium difficulty, and both landed the full 390x. The first paid $1,939,615.63 at 8:05 PM. Then, 72 minutes later, the second came in at $3,897,285.05.

Stake clearly enjoyed it, posting both slips on X with the caption "damn, 1-5 is hitting today." Hard to argue with that. All in, $14,966.41 went on the board, and $5,836,900.68 came back.

Put the two slips next to each other, and they're almost twins. Only the timing, the stake, and the payout really change.

The first ticket went in at 8:05 PM for $4,973.37. The draw? 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, plus 11, 15, 27, 37 and 39. That's a perfect catch, and 390x made it $1,939,615.63.

Then came the follow-up. A little over an hour later, someone put $9,993.04 on the exact same five numbers, a touch more than double the first bet. It hit again. Numbers 1 to 5 came out alongside 15, 21, 27, 34 and 36, and the same 390x pushed this one to $3,897,285.05.

Stake Keno $5.8M win

A fun detail is that 15 and 27 showed up in both draws too. Neither was on the ticket, so they didn't count for anything.

One more for the sharp-eyed. The payouts show in dollars, but the little coin icon on both slips is the Ethereum logo. The bet IDs are also roughly 13.2 million apart, so if Stake numbers bets in order, a lot happened in between.

What Are the Odds?

Roughly 1 in 2,611 for any single round. Stake Keno draws 10 numbers from a 40-number board, and all five of your picks must be among them.

For anyone who likes the numbers behind it, there are 658,008 possible five-number combos on a 40-number board. Only 252 of them fit completely inside a 10-number draw. That's about 0.038%. The pick itself doesn't change anything. A ticket on 7, 18, 22, 31 and 40 has exactly the same shot. Worth noting too: 390x sits well under the true odds, with smaller payouts for partial catches filling out the paytable.

You could square those odds and call it a 1 in 6.8 million double. But that only works if the hits came on back-to-back rounds, and there's no way of knowing how many rounds were played in between.
Keno rounds take seconds. You can fit a lot of them into 72 minutes.

One Player or Two?

Honestly, we don't know. Both bets were placed in Hidden mode, which keeps the username off the slip, and Stake hasn't said.

That said, it smells like one person. Same numbers, same difficulty, same coin, and a stake that roughly doubled. That's what pressing your luck after a win looks like.

A copycat jumping on 1 to 5 can't be ruled out, though. Until the winner or Stake says otherwise, we're calling it two huge wins and leaving it there.

Is 1 to 5 Actually Lucky?

Nope. Keno is one of Stake's provably fair Originals, and each round is generated on its own, with no memory of what came before. So a hit on 1 to 5 tells you nothing about the next draw. Those numbers aren't 'due,' and they aren't 'hot.' They're just five numbers.

Look, copying a pattern right after it pays feels smart. Chasing it is usually how balances disappear.

One Last Thing

Two perfect 390x catches on the same numbers, barely an hour apart, is a wild thing to see. However many people are behind those Hidden tags, about $15,000 in stakes became $5.8 million in one evening.
