  • Stake is adding a 10% odds boost to every Map 1 favorite.
  • Runs November 2 to 15, through the Brooklyn final.
  • Max $15 pre-match single per boost, no multis.
  • Our picks: back IG, Gen.G and T1, skip BLG.
Stake is adding a 10% boost to the favorite's Map 1 Winner price in every Worlds 2026 knockout match. The promotion runs from November 2 to November 15, covering every series through to the Brooklyn final on November 14.

Although it’s a relatively modest promotion with a $15 cap, it offers great value for regular Stake.com bettors who enjoy wagering on League of Legends events.

The interesting part is Map 1 itself. Gen.G came into Worlds as the favourites, yet LYON beat them in Game 1 during the Swiss Stage. The two meet again in the quarterfinals.

How the Worlds Map 1 Boost Works

Stake decides who the Map 1 favourite is in each knockout match and adds 10% to that price. On the match page, the old odds are struck through with the boosted price in yellow beside them. A 1.20 favorite becomes 1.32, and a 1.65 favourite becomes 1.81.

With the added boost, the odds are still unlikely to exceed 2.00 because it only applies to the favorite selection. You can stake up to $15 on each boosted selection, placed as a single bet before the match. No multis, no live bets, and one bet per boost.

H2> Quarterfinal Boosts: Our Take
Only Map 1 counts for this promo, so we went back through every team's first game in each Swiss match. That means the Bo1s plus Game 1 of each Bo3. It's a small sample, but a telling one.

H3> Top Esports vs Invictus Gaming: IG boosted to 1.96
Our lean: take it.
IG have been the sharper starters in Allen. Their only first-game loss came against Gen.G on day one. TES have dropped two openers, including Game 1 of their Round 4 win over BLG.
History points the same way. When these two met in the LPL Regional Finals in September, IG won Game 1 before TES took the next three. Near even money on the better starter is a good spot.
H3> Gen.G vs LYON: Gen.G boosted to 1.32
Our lean: take it, but expect a fight.
Gen.G went 3-0 in Swiss and are 1.03 to win the series, so Map 1 is the only market with a usable price. The worry is obvious. LYON have already beaten them in a Game 1 here, back in Round 3.
LYON's openers have dried up since, though. They lost Game 1 to IG and again to LOS, and only came back to win the LOS series. At 1.32, Stake gives Gen.G about a 76% chance. With the boost, that's close to a fair price on the better team.
H3> Dplus KIA vs Bilibili Gaming: BLG boosted to 1.81
Our lean: skip this one.
The bookies are clearly leaning on pedigree. BLG won First Stand, reached the MSI final and won Game 1 in both of their Swiss Bo3s. Their four first-game wins are the most of any team left.
DK, though, haven't lost a single game at Worlds. They went 4-0 across Swiss, beating G2, T1 and Movistar KOI. We'd rather not back the favourite against the only perfect record left. If you want a bet here, DK at 2.10 is the more interesting price.
H3> Karmine Corp vs T1: T1 boosted to 1.49
Our lean: take it.
T1 have won the last three Worlds and are 4-1 in games here. Their one slip was a Bo1 loss to Dplus KIA in Round 2. KC are 4.80 for the series, which shows how little the market fancies an upset.
Karmine Corp have earned some respect. They came through the Play-In Stage at their first ever Worlds, then beat Anyone's Legend and knocked out Movistar KOI. But both of KC's first-game losses came against LYON and BLG, and T1 are a level above both.
H2> Is the Worlds Map 1 Boost Worth It?
If you were backing the favourite anyway, yes. The extra cash on a $15 bet is modest, between $1.80 and $2.70 on the quarterfinals. The real gain is the price.
Before the boost, these four Map 1 markets carry a built-in bookie edge of about 6% to 9%. With the boost on, that drops to roughly 1% to 3%, which is about as close to fair as sportsbook odds get. Short favorites benefit most. On Gen.G, the boost adds 60% to your profit, while on IG it adds about 23%.
What the boost won't do is fix a bad pick. A better price on a team you don't rate is still a bet you expect to lose, which is why we're passing on BLG.
Keep your stakes to what you can afford to lose, and use Stake's responsible gambling tools if it stops being fun.
