UFC Fighter Diego Lopes Joins Roobet as Brand Ambassador

Lopes made his UFC debut against unbeaten Movsar Evloev in May 2023, accepting the fight on short notice. He lost by decision, but earned a Fight of the Night bonus and quickly became a fighter to watch.

Wins over Sodiq Yusuff at UFC 300 and Brian Ortega at UFC 306 helped establish him among the leading featherweights. He later challenged Alexander Volkanovski for the title at UFC 314 and UFC 325, losing both fights by unanimous decision.

Born in Manaus, Brazil, Lopes developed much of his career in Mexico, where he won regional titles before reaching the UFC. That journey took him from the Mexican circuit to some of the sport’s biggest fight cards.

Roobet’s involvement in MMA predates the Lopes signing by several years. In July 2023, UFC announced a partnership with Roobet.fun, the brand’s free-to-play social casino. The agreement included branding at selected UFC events, athlete content and fan experiences.

At the time, UFC named Alex Pereira, Charles Oliveira, Brandon Moreno and Marlon “Chito” Vera among Roobet.fun’s sponsored fighters. That agreement concerned the social casino, while Lopes’s arrival was announced through Roobet’s main channels.

Roobet also works with Chelsea FC and the esports team 100 Thieves. Both appeared alongside Lopes and Oliveira in its September 2026 materials for SBC Summit.

Eligible new players can receive a 100% first deposit match up to $1,000 when joining Roobet. Enter the Roobet promo code MAXCASH in the referral code field during registration, then deposit at least $10.

The bonus is credited automatically once the qualifying deposit is processed. Only the first deposit counts, so you can't combine several smaller deposits to qualify. A 30x wagering requirement applies to your deposit and bonus combined before withdrawal. For example, a $100 deposit plus a $100 bonus requires $6,000 in qualifying wagers.
