If you were already thinking about backing Merab this weekend, Stake just made it a lot harder to say no by giving their sponsored fighter a stellar price boost.

Merab Dvalishvili fights Petr Yan for the bantamweight belt at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi this Saturday, October 24, and Stake.com has bumped his odds to win up to 5.0.

Below, you'll find how it works and the maximum bet limit. I also take a quick look at the rest of the card, plus other promos that stand out if you enjoy betting on the UFC.

What is Stake's ‘Merab's 5th to 5.0’ Promo?

If you're wondering about the name, Merab has won four UFC title fights, and beating Yan again would make it five. So Stake put him at 5.0, which is about double what you'll get at most other books.

How to Get Boosted Odds on Merab

The great thing about Stake’s odds boost promotions is that they are easy to follow. Essentially, you’re just placing a normal wager. There is no opt-in or other steps to follow. Simply add the boosted pick to your betslip, and that's it.

  • Log in to Stake (or sign up with our code if you're new).
  • Head to the UFC section of the sportsbook and open UFC 333.
  • Find Yan vs Dvalishvili. Merab's boosted odds show up in orange.
  • Add it to your bet slip as a single.
  • Put your stake in and confirm it before the fight starts.

Terms

There are a few catches, like with any boost. You get one pre-match single on it, so no live betting and no sticking it in a multi. The boosted bet also won't count for any other Stake promo.

Stake sets the max bet and can tweak the boost, so it won't be the same for everyone. They can also pull it whenever they like, or only show it to some users. So if you can see it, don't wait around.

For reference, the maximum bet on my account is 10.009 USDT ($10). Although this might not be the same for everyone, it gives you a good idea of the likely amount.

Merab Odds Boost

Why Merab at 5.0 is Worth a Look

These two have fought each other twice before, and they have one apiece, so Saturday's the decider.

Merab won the first one pretty easily back in March 2023. After that, he went on a run, beating O'Malley for the belt in 2024 and defending it three times with wins over Nurmagomedov, O'Malley again, then Sandhagen. He also became the first guy in UFC history to hit 100 takedowns along the way.

Then UFC 323 happened last December. Merab was going for a fourth title defence in one year, and Yan just didn't let him get going. His boxing was sharp, his takedown defence held up, and he won it on the cards.

This time Yan (20-5) is the champ and the favourite, around 1.55 at most books. Merab (21-5) has been sitting at about 2.30, so 5.0 is a big jump.

Put $10 on him at 5.0, and you get $50 back if he wins. At normal odds, you'd get about $23. Both of their fights so far went the full five rounds, and the books think this one will too.

UFC 333 Main Card Rundown

UFC 333 is at Etihad Arena on Yas Island this Saturday. The main card is scheduled to start at 10pm Abu Dhabi time (6pm UTC), with two title fights at the top of the bill.

Here's the main card.

Petr Yan (c) vs Merab DvalishviliBantamweightTitle fight, trilogy decider
Aaron Pico vs Losene KeitaFeatherweightKeita took it on short notice
Alexander Volkov vs Rizvan KunievHeavyweightRussian vs Russian
Lone'er Kavanagh vs Ramazan TemirovFlyweightShould be a fun one

Alexander Volkanovski vs Movsar Evloev

Volk is one of the best featherweights ever, and Evloev is the No. 1 contender. Volkanovski (28-4) won the vacant belt against Diego Lopes in April 2025 and beat him again in February. This'll be his sixth title defence and his 11th title fight in a row, which is a bit ridiculous.

Evloev is 20-0. He got his shot after a close decision over Lerone Murphy in March, and plenty of people thought it could've gone the other way. The odds are basically even, so it's a proper coin flip.

Petr Yan vs Merab Dvalishvili

We covered this one above, so quickly: Yan wants his first defence of this second title run, and Merab wants his belt back. Merab's even said he wants Song Yadong next if he wins.

Aaron Pico vs Losene Keita

Arnold Allen dropped off the card, so Belgium's Losene Keita took the fight on short notice. He got the call after his first-round knockout of Muhammad Naimov went viral. Now he gets Aaron Pico on the main card, which is a big chance for him.

Alexander Volkov vs Rizvan Kuniev

Two big Russians going at it. Volkov has been a top heavyweight for years, and he's dangerous at range. For Kuniev, beating someone with Volkov's experience would be a big step up.

Lone'er Kavanagh vs Ramazan Temirov

England's Lone'er Kavanagh (10-2) fights Uzbekistan's Ramazan Temirov (20-3). It's flyweight, so it'll probably be fast, and both guys want to move up the rankings.

Top of the Prelims: Azamat Murzakanov vs Dominick Reyes

The last prelim is Azamat Murzakanov vs Dominick Reyes, who's fought for the light heavyweight title before. Murzakanov had a 12-fight win streak until Paulo Costa beat him last time out, so he needs this one.

UFC Split Decision Insurance at Stake

There's nothing worse than losing a bet when one of the three judges actually had your guy winning. Yan knows the feeling, since he lost a split decision to O'Malley back at UFC 280. Stake's split decision insurance means you at least get your money back when it happens.

Bet on any UFC fighter to win, and if they lose on a split decision, you get your stake back. It runs until the end of the year, so UFC 333 is covered.

Final Thoughts

It's a stacked card, and if you're watching anyway, the boost is a fun excuse to have something riding on the co-main. If you think Merab gets his belt back, 5.0 is a lot better than you'll find elsewhere. Just don't leave it too late, because Stake can pull the boost whenever.

And keep it fun. Only bet what you can afford to lose, and you need to be 18+ to play.
