Napoli will hope that the ability to win games has not abandoned them heading into their final match after they were held to a second successive draw in Serie A.

Their 0-0 draw with Parma saw Napoli really struggle to create any real opportunities as their hosts delivered an impressive defensive display. This was the worst time for Napoli to draw a scoring blank for the first time in the league since they were beaten 1-0 by Lazio back in mid-December.

I predict there will be some real nerves heading into their final match of the season, but I do not foresee a third consecutive game in which they fail to win. Both sides have scored in three of their last four meetings, and I back the current leaders to get the win they need despite failing to keep a clean sheet.

Cagliari were able to secure their place in Serie A for next year by downing Venezia 3-0 to all but relegate their opponents.

Victory saw Cagliari bounce back from two consecutive defeats to Udinese (2-1) and Como (3-1). With the threat of relegation very real, Cagliari held their nerve to take all three points and save themselves.

While they have a chance to have a huge say on where the title goes this season, I do not back Cagliari to win this match. I predict that they will extend their run of scoring in all of their last six in Serie A, but I believe that securing their safety in their last game will see them struggle to match the intensity of their title chasing opponents.
