AIK are hot on the heels of Mjallby at the summit, with their latest win seeing them move to within a point of the leaders. 

AIK have won four of their last 10 against Sirius, with the latter winning once and the other five ending as draws. 

Sirius have seen their season meander of late, with three consecutive defeats seeing the side slip down to 14 in the standings with just nine points.

While they are only a point behind Halmstad in 13th, they cannot bank on other sides also struggling. Instead, they need to start picking points up more regularly as they try to put together a run of positive results. 

The worry for Sirius will be that they have only won twice this season, with one of these coming at home. A draw and three defeats has seen the club start in worrying style on their own patch, and I predict another disappointing result as they are beaten by AIK. 

AIK remain the only side in the league yet to lose a game this season, with the club sitting on 26 points from their opening 12 matches. 

The one frustration for AIK will be the difficulty they have had turning draws into wins, with five stalemates coming alongside seven victories. If a handful of those draws had been turned into three points, AIK would be clear at the summit. 

As it is, AIK have a big chance to extend their unbeaten run in the league to 13 matches, and I back them to do just that. Their run of three draws in their last four coupled with seeing the points shared when they face Sirius in a number of matches is a worry, but the difference between the two sides this season is enough to convince me that they will secure their eighth win of the season this weekend.
