Arsenal and Newcastle United were expected to win their respective matches, but other than those, this ticket does not have one certainty.

Preying on Manchester City’s current crisis, it was a smart pick to go for Aston Villa, particularly when playing at home and their odds being 3.20. Also, Nottingham Forest’s run of form has seen them rise up into the Champions League places. Confidence is buzzing in their squad, making this another savvy selection.

Mallorca beating Getafe was a little shock, as was highlighted by their odds of 3.90. The big gamble was Atletico getting the win against Barca at the Nou Camp.
