Stake.com Verification Guide
It’s quick and easy to verify your Stake.com account. The entire process is completed online, and it only takes a few minutes. Further down this page, I’ll highlight the reasons why Stake requires players’ accounts to be verified and what the benefits are for you.
First, let’s go through the initial processes to ensure your account is fully verified.
Email Verification
When registering an account using the regular sign-up method, you provide your email address. This is done on the registration form, where you also insert the Stake promo code HUGE.
Upon completion of the sign-up process, Stake sends you a verification email. Open the email that you’ve received and click the link inside. This instantly verifies your email address. You can check that your email has been verified by Stake in your Account Settings > Verify.
Stake.com Level 1 Verification
With your Stake account set up and your email address verification done, it is now time to move on to the KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.
- Log into Stake.com
- Click on your account profile (the head and shoulders icon)
- From the drop-down menu, click Settings
- Select Verify from the list of options
For Level 1 verification, you must confirm your details, which include:
- First and last names
- Country of residence
- Place of birth
- Date of birth
- Residential address
- Occupation (optional)
Stake.com Level 2 Verification
To complete level 2 verification at Stake, you must upload some form of identification that includes a photo of yourself, such as:
- A national ID card
- Driver’s license
- Passport
The document you upload must be a photo (JPEG). You cannot upload PDFs or similar files. Also, when taking the photo of your ID make certain the information is clear, without any blurring.
I first submitted my government-issued ID card, but it was rejected because the image had faded. Then, I used my passport, and it was accepted.
After uploading and submitting your document, it is reviewed by Stake. Typically, this process only takes 10 - 15 minutes. With that done, your account is level 2 verified.
The Advantages of Level 2 Verification
Stake’s insistence that its customers complete level 2 verification is to enhance player safety and security, which is something that’s extremely important to this brand.
It’s also worth noting that Stake will never withhold any player’s funds, and withdrawals will remain the same as before. In addition, other advantages include:
- Larger Bonuses: After completing level 2 verification, Stake players will be eligible for larger bonuses
- Poker Freerolls: Fans of Stake Poker can participate in the daily freeroll tournaments. There are four $500 freerolls daily. Only players whose accounts are verified (level 2 or above) can join.
- Daily Bonus Drops: Join Stake’s Telegram channel to get daily bonus codes that can be redeemed for cash prizes. Among the conditions for claiming a bonus drop is level 2 verification.
- Rain: Once you’re verified, you may be eligible to claim Rain Rewards in the on-platform chat feature.
- Special VIP Bonus: Stake is offering all existing players a special bonus that’s tailored to their current VIP level for completing level 2.
